Big Easy soulful indie rockers, Darcy Malone and The Tangle’s latest release is a four track EP called Make Me Over, which features their new single “Time To Be Free.” The record is a fresher and bolder continuation of their bigger than life sound, which was first heard last year when they released their debut album, Still Life. Once again, the band effectively combines their eclectic influences of New Orleans funk, soul, pop and rock into four distinct and catchy songs recorded at legendary Louisiana recording mecca Studio In The Country.

So OffBeat Magazine has put out their Jazz Fest Bible and the review of our record “Still Life” is in it by the super awesome Brett Milano and in the words of my four year old son………..”HOLY DANG!” We are so honored, thankful, grateful, etc. for such an awesome review!! We really put our hearts and souls into this and to get such great feedback is so awesome! I am so excited to be playing Jazz Fest this Saturday and for so many amazing gigs coming up……Ahhhh! Hello all! Darcy here! We have been having such an exciting couple weeks! After our fabulous time performing at WGNO on the Twist stage, we got right to work with the incomparable Rick G. Nelson of the Afghan Whigs at Marigny Recording Studios! We are soooooo excited about this upcoming record we can hardly contain ourselves!!!! Be on the lookout for updates!
